Business Controller
Business Controller – Thruster Systems within Propulsion and Handling Division
We seek an engaged, operationally focused Business Controller responsible for financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control for the Thruster Systems Business Unit in Rauma. The role reports to the Finance Manager in Thruster Systems.
The position is in our Propulsion and Handling division which owns, develops and delivers world class Propulsion and handling solutions for customers globally. The division is responsible for product and technology development, supply chain operations and project delivery. Main sites in the division are in Finland, Norway, Sweden and UK.
This role requires taking initiative, working independently, and supporting and collaborating with the business. The focus should be on contributing to the Business Unit’s targets, identifying risks, and implementing corrective actions. The ability to simplify complex financial concepts is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude are important for this position.
Key accountabilities
Financial reporting and analysis
Forecasting and budgeting
Reliably report and follow-up the project portfolio
Collaborating with the operational teams to support them in achieving their targets
Setting and monitoring KPIs, along with ensuring transparent reporting of business activities
Support business improvement and product development projects
Enhance the Finance function by improving its interaction with other functions
Qualifications and experience
A bachelor’s / master’s degree in finance or economics
At least 5 years of relevant experience within finance
Forward looking focus, including forecasting and analytical work
Business strategic mindset
You are able to

Comply with the company rules and procedures and execute plans with commitment and determination
Analyse complex issues and problems and come up with rational judgments
