We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Developer to join the Thruster Systems business unit. In this role, you will play a central part in developing advanced AI solutions for maritime applications, with a particular focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based models. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, and support functions, contributing to both local and global initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a hands-on, detail-oriented expertise and mindset combined with the ability to drive innovation and foster collaboration across teams.
Key responsibilities
Development, integration and testing of advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agent models.
Creating and validating new innovative machine learning based approaches together with internal and external software development teams
Contributing to the design and architecture of scalable AI systems
Qualifications
A bachelors degree or higher in software development or engineering discipline
Broad experience developing machine learning/deep learning or generative AI models and software solutions
Proficiency in spoken and written English; Finnish, Swedish, or Norwegian language skills are an advantage
Willingness to travel as required
