We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our Global Logistics team in our head office (Nokia), Finland.
Your main responsibility is to manage and develop Nokian Tyres warehouse operations and 3PL service provider relations in our warehouses located in Finland. Most of these warehouses are located close to our factory in Nokia. You will act as a local process owner for store process and support global process owner on a need basis. You will be co-operating with multiple stakeholders, most importantly with Warehouse teams, Supply chain planning team and Transportation planning team. This is a fixed-term position until February 2026 to cover expat assignment of the original position holder.
Key responsibilities:
– Manage and develop Nokian Tyres factory warehouse operations and 3PL service provider relations in Finland
– Act as a local store process owner in Finland and support global process owner, including also warehousing safety & quality
– Support development of warehousing related processes and systems, like WMS and logistics reporting in Finland
– Participate development projects as a local process owner
– Active stakeholder communication both internally and externally
What we expect from you:
– M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or similar related field
– Minimum work experience of 3 years with warehousing and / or logistics
– Experience working with 3PL service providers
– Understanding warehousing related processes and systems, like WMS
– Hands on attitude and solution-oriented mindset
– Ability to work independently in complex environment and work under pressure
– Good analytical and problem-solving skills, Lean Six Sigma knowledge is considered an asset
– Willingness to learn and understand business processes also outside own expertise area
– Very good communication skills in Finnish and English
When working at the office, your team will be located in Nokia, Finland. That doesn’t mean that we expect you to be there on a daily basis since we are promoting flexible working culture. In Logistics we have two common office days in week. In this role you will report directly to Head of Global Logistics.
