Technical Sales Manager
Job description:
Your role will focus on sales, offer calculation and project management. You will work with both existing customers and new prospects. Most of your time is spent with existing customers finding out about their requirements for the new projects, calculating bids to fulfill these needs and coordinating the start of a new project to the Project Manager in Nordec’s Team. Your category of products and solutions will be among the single-storey building projects. Your customers are located in Sweden and Norway, but your office will be either in Vaasa or some of Nordec’s other offices in Finland (Helsinki, Tampere, Seinäjoki, Ylivieska, Oulu or Pietarsaari) or in Stockholm, Sweden. Some traveling might be required to build and strengthen customer relationships. You will have the support of the organization behind you. You will work closely with your colleague who is also a Sales Manager. Additionally, your manager will also oversee the projects from start to end and support you where ever needed.
Who are we looking for?
You have strong experience in and understanding of technical sales in the manufacturing industry and offer calculation. Preferably you have worked with metal structures before so the industry is not completely new to you. It is important that you are able to read technical manufacturing plans and drawings and calculate the costs of certain types of solutions. Sales predictions and sales strategies are also themes that you have worked with before. You work fluently in English, Swedish and preferably in Finnish too. Your work style is solution-orientated and you’re used to problem solving. Working in changing and unpredictable projects is something that you are ready to take up as a challenge. You are persistent and able to keep in touch with the customer over long negotiations and projects.
