We are growing in Finland and are looking for a 4-stroke
SUPERINTENDENT / SERVICE ENGINEER
Are you motivated to carry out maintenance on-site and get trained in new technologies?
As superintendent, you lead service technicians on ships and vessels to carry out all kind of maintenance, as well as commissioning, performance tests, troubleshooting, root cause analysis and repair on MAN brand 4-stroke engines. You make sure HSE standards are followed during all maintenance work. You are flexible to travel within North and Western Europe to our end customers locations to ensure the MAN service delivery.
Installation, implementation and troubleshooting of field services are part of your duties. You provide operational support in all stages of a project and independently complete tasks and sub packages. You analyze maintenance data to suggest improvement activities and identify spare part requirements.
You are a qualified Marine or Machine Engineer or field service technician with some five years of hands-on maintenance experience on ships and vessels. You may already have the required experience to work as a Superintendent Engineer or you can start as a (Senior) Service Engineer and grow in the role. We hope you are familiar with 4-stroke gas- and/or dual fuel LNG engines. Knowledge of electronic and pneumatic systems is an advantage. Preferably you speak fluent Finnish with a good command of the English language (spoken and written), Swedish is an asset. As a Finnish citizen you have preferably completed the Finnish military service.
As a person, you are assertive and flexible with the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You work well under pressure and have excellent technical skills. You are service oriented, willing to grow professionally by the on-the-job training as well as develop yourself with the MAN PrimeServ Care training. You possess a valid driver’s license and a Finnish passport.
