We are now looking for Summer Trainee, Application Platforms to our Business Hub in Tampere or to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki.

Application Platforms team leads, steers, and manages business critical platform services like Application Integrations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Digital Customer Experience (DCX), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Document Management, eArchiving, eSignatures and a multitude of Cybersecurity services for all UPM Businesses – all with market-leading technologies. What you will do

-Collaborate, plan and propose actions to be taken
-Work with and get to know UPM Application Platforms
-Learn the value chain from the requirements and capability to features delivered in service releases
-Help with demand and release management tasks of our services
-Help us improve our documentation practices and documentation quality
-Help us develop our internal communities and knowledge sites
-Help us in planning the future of our application services
-Support in service modelling in ServiceNow
-Help us develop our service reporting in ServiceNow

Who you are

Most importantly, you take initiative and accountability in your work and enjoy both working independently and in collaboration with multiple teams and networks. As your tasks will span a variety of technologies and services, you are fast to learn and enjoy learning challenges in multiple technologies. Already advanced studies and previous experience of IT Service Management are considered an asset. Both your written and spoken English needs to be fluent.

We will onboard you to your tasks, as well as the rules and ways of working in our workplace. From your first day, you are a full member of our working community, and we encourage you to be active, learn, and ask questions about your work.
