We are now looking for a Summer Trainee, Pulp Supply Chain team to our head office, the Biofore House, in Helsinki or Kymi pulp mill in Kouvola.

What you will do

You will participate in Pulp Supply Chain related projects depending on your skill set and UPM needs. In addition:

-You will do business Process analysis, investigation and improvements within Supply Chain area
-You will do data and analytics projects related Supply Chain data; data assets development, data modelling, Power BI reporting
-You will participate to ad hoc reporting and business processes development when needed
-You will support stakeholders with data request and ad hoc analysis
-You will expand our usage of Microsoft Teams and its Power Platform suite capabilities including Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
-You will work with and get to know more about shipment planning and execution, order management, and logistics related processes, data and analysis
-You will network with pulp sales and logistics suppliers

Who you are

-You are a master’s degree student who has already advanced in studies related to Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Management or Business Analytics
– You have some relevant experience and understanding related to at least one of the focus areas (Data management, Supply Chain and Logistics) and relevant systems / tools (SAP, Power BI, Power Platform, Salesforce)
– You have knowledge of coding languages such as SQL and DAX
– You have fluent English skills. Other language skills are considered as an asset
– We appreciate a positive and energetic attitude, as well as taking initiative and responsibility
