How would it feel to work with products that save lives?Now you have a great opportunity to dive into the world of communication controllers, headsets, active hearing protectors, and vehicle systems, as we are looking for an experiencedSOFTWARE ENGINEERto join us in Tampere or Espoo.Your main task is embedded software design using C language for microcontroller based systems and Python as supporting language, both in product development and customer projects. You will work with unique and high-quality products, for example, in various public authority and defense industry environments. You will participate in the software and electronics design of our devices, innovation, system design, quality assurance, product definition, and the preparation of R&D documentation – in collaboration with other designers and product managers. The person we are looking for can really call themselves as a senior, experienced software engineer. You have a comprehensive understanding of the software world and will share your insight and inputs, truly enabling our growth! Our team thrives on cooperation and active communication as we work towards a common goal with our heads together. We hope you are willing and able to work on-site at our office in Tampere or Espoo.From the technical point of view, you have wide experience in using C and Python, as well as either FreeRTOS or Zephyr. Previous experience with Linux and Bluetooth systems, STM32, as well as experience in development in e.g. localization, machine learning, and mobile environments, provide an excellent technical foundation for the role. You master git in source code version control and in collaborative development workflows. It would be great if you were to have knowledge of telecommunications and network routing. In addition to design, we hope you have experience in software testing at various stages of development and understand the importance of documentation – SW QA is important to you! The role requires fluent English skills and most likely also ability to communicate in Finnish.
