Workers for clearing snow from roofs for the winter season! ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut is a HR company offering staffing and recruitment services. In addition to Kuopio, we have offices in Helsinki and Järvenpää. We know the local business sector through and through and offer clear and fair employment. We are now looking for workers for our fairly large, national customer to clear snow from roofs during the coming winter season for the capital region, Kymenlaakso and Päijät-Häme.Work assignmentsAs the layer of snow grows thicker and snow loads pile up on the roofs, the peak season of clearing snow from roofs starts. The season usually takes place between January and March, lasting from two to seven weeks, depending on the amount of snow.The workers clear snow from the roofs by pushing it down. The buildings range from low office and commercial buildings to tall apartment buildings. The work takes place in all weather conditions, including cold and windy weather. Manual tools, such as shovels and snow pushers, are used to shovel the snow down. Please note that the work is physically demanding. Occupational safety is ensured with appropriate safety harnesses. Training for their use will be provided to you. Other equipment needed is high-visibility winter clothing and work shoes, which we will provide to you if needed. Prior to starting the work, you will need to complete Occupational Safety Card training. If you do not have a valid card, we will assist you in getting one.Pay and working hoursWe will pay €14 per hour for this work, and a holiday compensation of 9%. You will be paid twice a month, based on your completed work shifts. Your employment relationship will be with ATA Henkilöstöpalvelut as a temporary agency worker called to work as needed.Your shifts will be confirmed based on the environmental conditions, and text messages will be used to agree on the shifts. You can get the shift by replying to the text message. After your first shift, you can also agree on your shifts directly with your site management, but please remember to let us know about this.
