Overview

We are looking for a Offshore Service Engineer to join our Field Service team in Rauma, to handle Offshore Projects. The main role of the Offshore Service Engineer is to perform service work, such as troubleshooting, condition audits and maintenance work for customer’s fired boiler or waste heat recovery systems in offshore, shipyards and power plants all over the world. Service work also includes maintenance and testing of boilers and burners, as well as other steam system components, soot blowers, dampers, etc. Offshore Service Engineer also gives technical support for service project team and spare part sales.

To succeed in this position, you have at least 5 years’ evidence of successful project, service or commissioning work in international constructions and applicable technical education. You have strong technical experience preferably from Offshore, shipbuilding, process or power plant industry. You get motivation from challenges and can maintain performance while working under pressure.

Your qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
– Strong electrical background with some automation knowledge
– You are cooperative team player and able to communicate in fluent English.
– You have systematic working style and solution finding ability
– You have ability to structure and organize your work and a commitment to deliver agreed results.
– You have customer centric approach.
– Willingness to travel (100-150 travel days/year)

We also appreciate
– education in electrical engineering
– special skills in energy technology, thermodynamics, flow dynamics and/or water treatment
– experience of working abroad and travelling
