We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join #TeamROCSOLE!
In this position you will develop software for our industrial sensor products. You will work closely with our domain experts to design and implement robust applications with intuitive interfaces and integration with hardware sensors. You are expected to give strong contribution to both Ul and business logic code as well as to software tools used both internally and by our customers.
As a member of our in-house software development team, you are responsible for writing good quality software using agile methods and tools. A successful candidate has a proven track record contributing to full life cycle of real-life desktop application development. As a software professional you understand what it required to write clean, good-quality code and expect nothing less from yourself. As a senior developer you understand that tools need to be chosen based on the tasks at hand and you are willing and capable in contributing to these decisions. To navigate the some of the existing code base and embedded software interface, you are also literate in low level languages such as C/C++.
The right candidate will be a self-motivated, positive person who puts team goals ahead of individual accomplishments and collaborates often and effectively with team members and other teams.
We expect you to have:
– a BSc or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge achieved by other means
– Solid programming skills and software design skills
– Ability to write good quality, test covered code
– Preferably experience in C, C++, Python and JavaScript (or similar)
– Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
– Passion to take new challenges and an open mindset
– Good teamwork skills
The following will be considered as an advantage:
– Understanding of embedded software development and/or industrial automation
– Experience in databases
– Understanding full stack web development
