As a Mechanical Engineer, you will focus on product development. We expect you to have relevant work experience in mechanical design with 3D CAD software. You will be acting as a mechanical engineer in our R&D and Engineer To Order-projects, participating to the design phase of our systems, sub-systems and components for our cryogen-free dilution refrigerators, participating in engineering change projects, and creating detailed manufacturing drawings. Your tasks will also include maintaining design data in our data management systems (PDM, ERP) and participating in ongoing team-specific projects (i.e. CAD data management, documentation, process development, etc.).

Since you will be communicating directly with other internal external stakeholders, we expect you to have excellent communication skills. For example, in this position you will work in close collaboration with our Sales, Sourcing and Product Management as well as various manufacturing, assembly and testing teams in addition to external service providers and suppliers. Even though you work very well independently, you also have good teamwork spirit and a positive, hands-on attitude. To succeed in this role, you have ability to create high quality technical drawings with minute details and knowledge of production methods.

You will have more than 50 colleagues in our R&D and Engineering team with different kind of engineering and science backgrounds. What we expect from you

– M.Sc or equivalent knowledge in Mechanical Engineering

– Minimum 4 years of design experience in Product Development projects

– Proven experience in using a common CAD software

– Ability to develop and sketch concepts efficiently

– Ability to create high quality technical drawings with minute details

– Knowledge of production methods (DFM)

– Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken

– Excellent learning skills

– Independent way of working and hands-on attitude

– Good teamwork spirit and communication skills

We also appreciate

– Experience in using Creo

– Experience of PDM systems (Windchill)

– Experience in strength and thermal simulation

– Experience in using manual mill, lathe or CNC

– Positive and hands-on attitude

– Good problem-solving skills and innovative mindset
