The marketing coordinator is responsible for HAMK’s Career Services communication and marketing activities.

The marketing coordinator plans and implements marketing and promotional activities to increase the visibility of Career Services’ products and events for different target groups (international degree students, degree programmes’ personnel, stakeholders, employers and alumni). The coordinator’s tasks consist of various marketing and promotional activities and web-site content development. The marketing coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing the marketing plan using various relevant channels, including social media.

The marketing coordinator is also responsible for promoting, coordinating and implementing the Career Services’ programmes supporting networking and Finnish language learning, such as the International Friendship Programme, Language Café and webinars. The marketing coordinator supports the planning and implementation of events and activities organized by Career Services and assists in organization and hosting visits. The marketing coordinator also further supports the event and activities development by collecting and analysing feedback and is involved in innovating and designing new products and activities for international degree students in the framework of Career Services.

Skills and competencies needed:
We are looking for a dynamic and outgoing marketing talent with strong communication and self-management skills. Our team tends to act fast, and we work closely together so a colleague who is a team player with a proactive attitude would be a perfect fit for us.

We expect you to have a systematic and meticulous approach to your tasks and in process management. You will manage your own work with a firm grip, have good organizational skills and manage your own area of responsibility independently, supported by a wonderful team. You have excellent customer service skills with a positive touch. During a regular work week, we can promise you some ad hoc tasks, some routine tasks and meaningful development projects where you can demonstrate your skills in marketing.

We require you to have a relevant Higher Education Degree and demonstrated skills in marketing and promotional activities. We expect you to have excellent English language skills and the minimum of A2 level Finnish language skills with a proactive attitude in learning more and actively using Finnish.

We are looking for a talent to join our team as soon as possible with a full-time and fixed term contract until 31.12.2025. This is a project-based position with a possibility for continuance. The position set in the category 5 as defined in the collective agreement (Sivista, Chapter 5 Administration and support service personnel) and the salary is 2500 euro/month. The position is based at HAMK’s Hämeenlinna University Centre. Your work will include travelling between HAMK’s campuses, possibly also work trips within Finland.
