Overview
We are looking for a MACHINIST to work in Finland for an international client company in the boat industry.
Our client has over 50 years of experience in manufacturing luxury sailing yachts, globally renowned for their perfect combination of quality, performance, elegance, and reliability.
Since 1960, the company has built and delivered over 2,000 yachts ranging from 36 to 131 feet. Currently, approximately 300 employees work at their production facility. With a strong belief in the future and thanks to new extensive projects, we are constantly seeking new professionals to join our team.
We are looking for skilled mechanics to join our team in building high-end luxury sailing yachts. In this role, you will work with mechanical systems, such as HVAC, hydraulics, and ventilation system installation and testing. The work is diverse and requires precision, as well as the ability to meet high-quality standards.
JOB DUTIES:
– Installation of HVAC, hydraulic, and ventilation systems in boats
– Assembly and inspection of machines and equipment
– Adjustment and testing of hydraulic and air conditioning systems
– Collaboration with other teams, such as electrical and carpentry departments, to ensure smooth project execution
– Participation in the commissioning and inspection phases of the yachts
REQUIREMENTS:
– Experience in mechanical installations, such as HVAC, machine, or hydraulic installations (experience in boatbuilding is considered an advantage)
– Technical knowledge of hydraulic and ventilation systems
– Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
– Problem-solving skills and an independent approach to work
– Teamwork skills and the ability to adapt to flexible work tasks
– A precise and responsible attitude towards work safety and quality
