Overview

Job responsibilities:
1. Financial accounting: responsible for the compilation, recording, reconciliation, and review of the general ledger and all detailed accounts, especially on costing and R&D expense accounting.
2. Cash management: oversight of cash management, handling day-to-day accounting tasks, managing cash on hand, invoices, checks, and other financial instruments to ensure cash flow stability and liquidity.
3. Asset management: responsible for registering and conducting periodic inventory and fixed assets taking, as well as maintaining records of movement and depreciation.
4. Financial statement preparation and analysis: preparation, interpretation, and analysis of corporate financial statements and other reports, focused on key business drivers and performance analysis.
5. Financial planning and analysis: organizing and creating budgets, monitoring the execution, conducting cost forecasts, accounting, and analysis, and presenting cost control strategies and financial analysis reports.
6. Record keeping: responsible for archiving and preserving financial documents, reports, ledgers, and tax returns for the company.
7. Internal financial management: Assisting the financial director in establishing internal financial management systems, participating in the formulation of financial strategies, supervising cost and R&D expense management, ensuring the integrity of internal controls.
8. Understanding group reporting and international accounting standards: proficiency in group reporting package and international accounting standards, and effective implementation of Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) and goodwill impairment testing processes.
9. Financing management: Assisting in the exploration of financing sources based on capital requirements, conducting fundraising and management.
10. Team building: Assisting the director in building the financial team, recruiting and training staff, and conducting performance assessments.
11. Other duties: completion of ad-hoc tasks assigned by the CFO.

Job requirements:
1. Familiarity with accounting standards: proficiency in Finnish accounting standards and international accounting standards, including an understanding of the GAAP differences.
2. Accounting firm experience: prior work experience in an international accounting firm, with expertise in preparing consolidated financial statements, Purchase Price Allocation (PPA), and goodwill impairment testing.
3. Language and computer skills: fluent in English and Chinese for work-related communication, experience in using various financial systems.
4. Work Experience: hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in group enterprises.
5. Educational background: A full-time bachelor degree or higher from a reputable university majoring in finance-related area, preferably with relevant professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA.
