Nordic NC network construction OY
Nordic NC network construction is expanding and looking for excavator operators to our team in Finland.
Duties:
Digging trench with an excavator approx 3 ton size before laying fiber optic ducts in the trench.
Closing the trench and ensuring the quality of reinstatement is up to standards
performing work in accordance with health and safety requirements
work in a team with approximately 15 persons. You will have an assistant with you at all time during excavation.
Previous experience from cable line construction and knowledge of different types of cable are an advantage – but if you do not have previous knowledge of this, we will train our employees for this part.
Requirements:
Previous experience from excavation
Language skills in either Latvian, Russian or Ukrainian

Nordic NC network construction OY is an installation/contracting company with extensive expertise in electricity, telecommunications, data and fiberoptic network construction.
The group was founded in 2008.
The company’s collective experience with fiber networks consists of installations in various environments such as offices, homes, industrial buildings, etc. in Sweden, Germany and Finland.
Nordic NC network construction OY invests in competence and all employees hold relevant certification and training and we consider ourselves experienced and competent in our field.
Today, the group employs approx. 40 people with 15 excavators who, in 2025, plan to lay 200,000 meters of fiber channeling and connect 2,500 homes with fiber in Finland.
START: Spring 2025
SCOPE: Full-time, seasonal work. Hourly wage
WORK SITE: Western finland, site varies over the season
