Overview
We are looking for an ECEC Social Pedagogue who genuinely enjoys working with children and families. A team player who is committed to maintaining and nurturing a good working atmosphere and safety at work. An enthusiastic professional, whose focus is on developing and implementing pedagogical activities in a group, especially from the perspective of the childs well-being and participation.
As an ECEC Social Pedagogue, you will work in a multiprofessional team with an ECEC Teacher and an ECEC Carer developing and implementing pedagogical activities and care for a group of children. You will participate in the preparation of the childs early childhood education and care plan by producing observations and information about the childs social development. You will guide and support families, assess social support needs in cooperation with social services, and promote the child’s well-being and family networking.
Our working language is English, so it is essential that you have very good English language skills.

The qualification requirement for the position is a Bachelor of Social Services (Social Pedagogue) degree in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). If your qualification is not from Finland, it must be recognised by the Finnish Agency for Education (Opetushallitus).
A good knowledge of the National Core Curriculum for Early Childhood Education and Care (2022) is very important in this position.
