Overview
On behalf of our world-class technology industry customer in Tampere we now look for a DOCUMENT CONTROLLER to strenghten the in-house document management team. The position is about multi-channel management (creation, maintaining, sharing and storing) of documents related to equipment deliveries and circulated between various stakeholders. Typical tasks are:
– managing project document control in accordance with contract document schedule and instructions from Project Management.
– managing project document flow between Company and Client in accordance with contract document schedule; managing electronic documents through document management systems introduced by Company or Client.
– managing project document flow between Company and Vendors in accordance with contract document schedule; managing electronic documents through document management systems introduced by Company.
– determining of Client documentation requirements and preparing documentation instructions accordingly for the Project and Vendors.
– controlling document delivery schedule and readiness of project documents when delivered to Client or received from Vendors.
– overall documentation system support for the Project.
– archiving project documents from Client and Vendors in the end of the Project.
Successful handling of the role requires apart from prior experience in document control and DMS softwares an aptitude for multitasking and communication. Assignment duration is until further notice and following a successful ramp-up work can partly be done remotely. The assignment is also suitable for freelance entrepreneurs part of our supplier network.
We expect of you:
– to be readily available at site in Tampere, Finland.
– relevant degree (e.g. B.Sc. Business Administration) supporting the role.
– at least 5 year relevant work experience and documented commitment to work quality and schedules.
– DMS (Document Management System) work experience e.g. M-files.
– great attention to detail and good skills communicating fluently both by speaking and writing in English and preferably in Finnish.
– and of course, the ability to work both independently and as team member on simultaneous projects under the occasional time-pressure.
