DataSpace, the pioneer of data spaces in Europe, is looking for a (Junior) Data and Pre-Sales Specialist to join their team.

As a (Junior) Data and Pre-Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for prospecting new customers and developing customer relationships with support from the experienced DataSpace team. You will actively contact companies and gather information on how companies can benefit from DataSpace’s services. You will get to brainstorm and develop ways to utilize data in the business together with the team and clients.

The ideal candidate for this role has interest in deepening their knowledge of data topics and performing pre-sales activities. You understand the importance of data in business and have ideas on how to make the most of it. Also, terms like circular economy and sustainability in business are fascinating to you. You possess strong interpersonal skills and are not afraid to reach out to customers. However, more important than experience is a curious mindset and a desire to develop both yourself and the DataSpace business.

DataSpace is looking for:
-Relevant higher education studies in business or technical field, for example Information and Service Management
-Some prior experience in sales, customer service and/or data related work
-Knowledge and interest in data processing and its utilization in business
-Strong interpersonal skills with proactive and sales-oriented approach
-A full working proficiency in English, Finnish skills are considered as a strong advantage

Practicalities:
This is a full-time and permanent position, and the ideal starting time is February 2025. You will be employed directly to DataSpace Europe. Their office is located in Kamppi, Helsinki, but you can work flexibly remotely from anywhere in Finland with occasional visits to the office. Salary in this position is around 3000-3500 €/month (gross) + commission depending on the level of your experience, and will be negotiated individually.
