Hello you, a connoisseur of good, especially well-cut meat! Kivijalka Butchery is looking for a new expert to join our post-production and packaging team. With us, youll work with top-quality meat products, serving both our suppliers and end consumers!
For Kivijalka Butchery, important matters include collaborating with producers, ethical and ecological practices, and quality Finnish food. Grass-fed meat, regenerative food production, and modern artisanal butchery are central to our operations. We cut only the finest domestic meat and operate on a fair-trade principle, paying producers based on the marbling grade of the carcasses, thus ensuring fair compensation for their work and promoting the culture and awareness of modern butchery in Finland.
What does the job involve?
* Handling meat and, depending on skill, cutting with knives and various other cutting tools and equipment
* Packaging cut meats and proper labeling
* Ensuring everything is top-notch in terms of cleanliness, hygiene, and quality
* Giving high-fives to teammates at the end of the day
What we hope from you?
* Experience in meat handling or a chefs degree or other relevant experience for this job!
* A hygiene passport
* A meticulous and careful approach to work and a desire to dive into the world of modern butchery
