Arcada is looking for a Business Collaboration Specialist with the ambition to develop new solutions and models together with employers within the framework of the its new project ANCHOR.You are passionate about opening up opportunities for others, developing new models and you thrive on networking. You work independently and you are driven by results.As Business Collaboration Specialist, you will be responsible for:
Establishing contacts with the local employers in the technology sector
Creating models to promote the employment of the international students, with a specific focus on internships
Implementing and evaluating the pilot
Actively collaborating with the degree programme Mechanical and Sustainable Engineering, as well as career counsellors, the alumni manager and alumni
Together with the project manager and the project team, ensuring that the project reaches set goals
You have a degree in machine or industrial engineering or a similar field, a broad network in the industry and have previous experience of working with projects and development. You communicate fluently in English and Finnish both orally and in writing. As a person, you are driven, communicative and systematic.We offer you a job in a multi-professional and dynamic work environment. Your coworkers are committed, supportive and forward-looking. You will work closely together with the project team, career counsellors and the degree programme. This position is a fixed-term position for the time period 1.1.2025 – 30.9.2027.In the EU-funded project ANCHOR – anchoring career support in working life, the aim is to create new concepts and models to improve the path to work for international students, recent graduates and alumni at Finnish universities of applied sciences in the capital region. Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, as well as the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce support the implementation of the project. The project lasts until 30.9.2027.Questions?
