EB Finland is now looking for an Assistant to strengthen their support functions in Oulu Technology Village. Elektrobit Finland was established in 2014 and today they have around 260 software professionals working together to make the world safer, greener and more fun.

Your future role with EB Finland

For Elektrobit, the office is not just another working space – it is the home of culture: a place where people get together and great ideas are born. As an Office Assistant you will have an essential role to ensure a flowing everyday life at the office. You will be people’s go-to person regarding office related details and questions. In this role you work closely with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization. This position is independent, but other support functions (HR, Finance) are working side by side supporting one another. ” We work professionally but we think it’s important to have fun at work, so humour is one of our most important driving forces!”

Your main tasks will include for example:

-Daily office administration – You ensure the availability of external services and office supplies to their staff (facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering etc.) You also maintain office’s conditions and participate in updating, maintaining and developing office policies and guidelines.
-Meetings and events – You will help scheduling meetings and appointments as well as support with business travelling related topics and tasks. You are the driving force of Virkkari -team to plan and organize in-house and off-site activities like parties, celebrations and other events.
-Support purchasing – You will assist in offer requests and administrative tasks.
-Information sharing – You take care of transparent communication of office specific topics as well as support and prepare materials for e.g. staff all-hands meetings.

What do we expect from you?

Are you a customer service-oriented person who enjoys helping and supporting other people? Do you think one of your strong qualities is prioritizing parallel tasks and keeping them – and sometimes also others – organized? Do you have good collaboration and communication skills both in Finnish and English and eagerness to work with variety of tasks? Through your experience you have learned to manage your multiple tasks in sustainable way, and you have an eye for important details. Perhaps you also have strong skills in MS Office tool palette, and you are happy to share best practices with your colleagues? If yes, then you fit in well with the team!
